The Xantrex Freedom XC 2000 is a 12VDC inverter/charger that supplies 120VAC true sine wave power and includes an internal transfer switch. It is intended for recreational and commercial power systems that need inverter output, battery charging, and automatic changeover when shore or generator AC power is available.

  • Input: 12VDC with wide 10-18VDC input range
  • Power rating: 2000W inverter with 80A charger
  • Surge capability: Up to 2x continuous power for 2 seconds for motor loads
  • Temperature range: Full output in invert or charge mode from -4°F to 104°F
  • Transfer relay: Built-in 30A AC transfer relay
  • AC source switching: Transfers loads from inverter power to incoming shore or generator power when outside AC is present
  • Charging: Power factor corrected multi-stage battery charging
  • Charge algorithm: Programmable 3-stage, temperature-compensated charging for battery types up to 18V
  • Battery functions: Equalization for flooded batteries and dead battery charging down to 0VDC
  • Ignition control: Allows inverter on/off control from a 12VDC signal
  • AC shutdown: Programmable under-voltage shutdown from 85-110VAC
  • Connections: Quick-connect AC input and output terminals
  • Power share: Lowers charge current to keep total input current under the breaker setting
