The Xantrex Freedom XC 1000 combines a true sine wave inverter, battery charger, and transfer switch in one 12VDC power unit. It is built for recreational and commercial setups that need 120VAC output, battery charging, and automatic switching between inverter power and incoming shore or generator power.

  • Surge capability: Up to 2x continuous power for 2 seconds for motor loads
  • Temperature range: Full output in invert or charge mode from -4°F to 104°F
  • Transfer relay: Built-in 30A AC transfer relay for shore or generator input
  • Charging: Power factor corrected, multi-stage charging
  • Battery support: Programmable 3-stage temperature-compensated charging algorithm for battery types up to 18V
  • Additional charging functions: Flooded battery equalization and dead battery charging down to 0VDC
  • Controls: Ignition control for inverter on/off from a 12VDC signal
  • AC protection setting: Programmable under-voltage shutdown from 85-110VAC
  • Installation: Quick-connect terminals for AC input and output
