Overview

When a sailing connection needs a 90° change in orientation, the Wichard Marine Captive Pin Twisted Shackle provides that turn. Its attached pin makes it useful for connecting unarticulated fittings, such as a block on a rail, or for use in purchase systems.

Key features

  • Twisted geometry accommodates connections that require a 90° orientation.
  • The pin stays attached when opened, keeping it from becoming a loose piece during handling.
  • An indentation holds the pin in its locked position to resist loosening from vibration.
  • Single-handed operation lets you open and close the shackle with one hand.
