Overview

For sailing connections that do not need free rotation, the Wichard Marine 35mm snap shackle provides a fixed-eye attachment. Pulling its plunger pin opens the shackle, while the captive pin stays attached to the hook.

Key features

  • A fixed eye suits connections where free rotation is unnecessary.
  • The captive plunger pin remains with the hook when opened, preventing the pin from becoming detached.
  • Pull-pin opening gives you a straightforward way to release the shackle.
  • A lanyard can be attached to the plunger pin for pulling it open.
