Overview

Replace your boat's rack and pinion steering setup with the Uflex TM87 20' system. The kit brings together a front-mount helm, steering cable and mounting bezel for boat owners updating compatible steering equipment.

Key features

  • The X34 bezel matches the existing helm bolt pattern, avoiding the need to drill new mounting holes.
  • A standard tapered shaft lets you retain most steering wheels up to 16" in diameter.
  • Stainless steel cable output ends and corrosion-resistant materials help protect the system in marine use.
  • The included helm, cable and bezel supply the main components together for the steering installation.

Specifications

  • System: TM87 rack and pinion
  • Cable length: 20'
  • Helm: G87 front mount
  • Cable: TM87XLL high-efficiency
  • Mounting bezel: X34
  • Shaft: 3/4" tapered
  • Cable stroke: 3.7"
  • Lock-to-lock travel: 3.3 turns
  • Cable bend radius: 7.9"
  • Safety standards: Exceeds ISO 8848 and ABYC P17
