Overview

16'Cable Length (Feet)

Replacing a boat's rotary steering setup is simpler when the helm, bezel and cable come together. The UFlex Rotech 16' package combines those components in a compact system suited to installations with limited clearance.

Key features

  • Fast-connect assembly simplifies installation of the steering components.
  • A compact helm helps accommodate mounting areas where space is restricted.
  • Stainless steel cable output ends and corrosion-resistant materials help address exposure in the marine environment.
  • Minimal steering feedback helps limit feedback felt at the wheel.
  • The packaged helm, bezel and cable make it convenient to source replacement steering components together.

Specifications

  • Package: ROTECH - X16
  • Helm: T71FC
  • Bezel: X34, 90 degrees
  • Steering cable: M66, 16 ft
  • Shaft: Standard 3/4-inch taper
  • Steering wheel travel: Approximately 3.8 turns lock to lock
  • Stroke: 9 inches (228 mm)
  • Maximum steering wheel diameter: 16 inches (406 mm)
  • Minimum cable bend radius: 7.9 inches (200 mm)
  • Safety standards exceeded: EN 28848 and ABYC P17

Good to know

The steering wheel is not included. Do not use the T71FC system on a boat whose engine exceeds the boat's maximum horsepower rating. For boats travelling faster than 50 mph, the recommended system is the T72FC twin-cable steering system.
