Overview
Star brite Star-Tron Diesel Enzyme Fuel Treatment is a 16 oz additive for diesel engines that need fuel-system cleaning, moisture dispersion, and fuel stabilization. It is intended for regular use or storage, and it can also be used when treating old, sub-spec fuel according to the supplied directions.
- Product type: diesel enzyme fuel treatment
- Size: 16 oz
- Use: fuel system cleaning and stabilization for diesel engines
- Fuel stability: stabilizes fuel for up to two years
- Deposit control: helps remove gum and varnish deposits
- Water handling: disperses water into submicron-sized droplets for combustion during engine operation
- Performance support: helps with starts and smooth running while reducing carbon buildup from burners, injectors, and exhaust components
- Applications: everyday use, seasonal storage, and rejuvenating old sub-spec fuel
- Dosage: add 1 fluid ounce for every 4 gallons of gas or diesel fuel
- Rejuvenated fuel: allow treated fuel to sit in the tank for at least 24 hours before use
- Filter note: keep spare fuel filters available because dispersed hardened deposits can load or clog filters
