Star brite Marine Descaling Fluid Concentrate - 1 Gallon

Scale and salt deposits can restrict flow through a boat's raw water cooling system. Star brite Marine Descaling Fluid Concentrate gives boat owners a way to remove those deposits from engine cooling passages, heat exchangers and AC systems during maintenance.

Key features

• Removes scale, calcium deposits, corrosion and salt buildup to help restore water flow.
• Cleans without damaging seals, gaskets or rubber impellers, and is suitable for use with hoses.
• Concentrated format makes multiple gallons of cleaning solution when mixed with fresh water.
• Supports pump-driven circulation or a soak method when a pump is unavailable.
• Suitable for raw water-cooled inboard and outboard engines, as well as other raw water systems.

Specifications

• Container size: 1 gallon
• Formula: Concentrate
• Dilution ratio: 1:4 with fresh water
• Soak time without a pump: 4–8 hours
• Applications: Marine engine cooling jackets, tubes, heat exchangers and AC systems

Good to know

For circulation cleaning, use a suitable pump with the inlet and outlet routing solution between the system and a container. Keep the system open to ventilation during treatment because descaling releases gas; do not seal it.
