Bring VHF communication and GPS positioning to your helm with the Simrad RS20S. For boaters who want access to favourite channels and contact positions, it combines selectable scan modes with Track Buddy and connections for compatible marine electronics.

Key features

  • A built-in GPS antenna provides a position source, with options to receive GPS data from a compatible unit or connect an external antenna.
  • NMEA 2000 connectivity supports functions such as grouped backlighting with Simrad multifunction displays.
  • The startup wizard guides region, country, MMSI, call sign, GPS source and time-offset settings.
  • Scan all channels or your selected channels, with options that also include channel 16.
  • Favourite-channel mode limits dial scrolling to the channels you have chosen, while customizable shortcuts give access to preferred functions.
  • Track Buddy requests positions from up to five contacts at selectable intervals and displays them on a compatible chartplotter.
