Overview
The SI-TEX MDA-5 is a 5-watt SOTDMA Class B AIS transceiver for vessels that need AIS transmit and receive capability with bridge-system connectivity. It includes an internal VHF antenna splitter, long-range Wi-Fi, and built-in satellite positioning, with FCC-required programming completed from the required vessel documentation at purchase.
