Overview
The Shurflo by Pentair twist-on water strainer is made to help protect a pump by catching debris before it reaches the pumphead. Its clear bowl lets you see when cleaning is needed, and the assembly is designed to come apart for routine cleaning.
- Inlet: 1/2 inch barb
- Bowl: clear plastic
- Screen: 50-mesh stainless steel
- Mounting: screws directly onto the pumphead
- Service: disassembles for cleaning and reassembly
- Purpose: keeps debris and particles out of the pump
- Warning: can expose users to Diisononyl Phthalate DINP, known to the State of California to cause cancer
