Overview
The Shakespeare 396-1-AIS is a 4' broadband VHF antenna designed for AIS systems. It is built for the broader bandwidth requirements of popular AIS transceivers and includes a mast mounting sleeve.
This one-section antenna uses commercial-grade construction with brass and copper elements. It has an SO-239 connector at the base, includes U-bolts for mounting, and may also be strapped to a larger mast with steel banding that is not supplied.
