The Schaefer Marine Great Hawk Wind Indicator is made for cruising and racing yachts from 8m to 20m. Its balanced vane and adjustable reference arms help sailors read wind shifts and set preferred angle references.

  • Boat size range: for boats from 8m to 20m
  • Vane arm length: 38cm or 15 inches
  • Overall height: 29cm or 11.4 inches
  • Overall weight: 70 grams
  • Vane arm material: nylon
  • Reference arm material: glass-filled nylon
  • Reference arm settings: preset at 55, 60, or 65 degrees, or adjusted to another preferred angle
  • Support rod: 5mm aluminum rod that can be straightened if bent
  • Mounting: mast bracket can be mounted vertically or horizontally
  • Removal: detaches from the mounting bracket with one screw
