Overview

For dinghy rigging that uses a lashing attachment, the Ronstan Series 25 Ball Bearing Orbit Block pairs a single sheave with a lashing head and becket. It handles sheet turning and control-line tasks, including cunninghams and cascading vangs.

Key features

  • The lashing head provides a way to attach the block with lashing up to 4mm.
  • A hollow stainless steel hub offers a through-sheave becket take-off.
  • Two-stage ball bearings support the sheave as it turns under the running line.
  • Accommodates rope up to 8mm for sheet and control-line use.
  • At 0.5 oz, the block adds little weight to the rigging arrangement.
