Overview

Managing sailing lines involves both building tension and easing it with control. The Ronstan 20ST Orbit Winch combines single-speed gearing with a self-tailer and a ribbed aluminum drum to help sailors handle both jobs.

Key features

  • Power Ribs grip the rope with fewer drum wraps and reduce the load carried by the self-tailer.
  • The smooth drum surface helps limit rope wear while allowing controlled easing under load.
  • Ribs guide the rope upward on the drum to help prevent riding turns.
  • Tool-free disassembly and reassembly simplify access for servicing.
  • Eight self-tailing arm positions let you adjust its orientation in 45-degree steps.
  • Spring-loaded self-tailing jaws accommodate lines from 6 to 10mm.
