Overview
The Raymarine RCU-1 is a wireless handheld remote for controlling an Evolution autopilot from around the boat. It is built for powerboats and sailboats, with a color display, single-hand operation, and modes for quick course changes and solo sailing safety.
- Control: Engage and disengage the boat's Evolution autopilot wirelessly from onboard.
- Point-and-Go: Aim the remote in the desired direction to set a new autopilot course.
- Safety mode: Solo Sailor Mode can point the boat into the wind when a wearer-overboard situation is detected.
- Display data: Shows heading, speed, depth, wind, and waypoint information.
- Power: Runs on two AA batteries for up to 30 days of continuous use.
