For new installations or retrofits, its rotating stainless steel rotor meets a stationary carbon flange to form a watertight seal and reduce the adjustment associated with traditional packing glands.

Good to know

Inspect the bellows regularly for wear, aging and chemical deterioration. PYI recommends replacing the bellows every six years as preventive maintenance, along with the rotor's O-rings and set screws when the bellows are replaced.
