Overview

The Newmar 115-24-10 is a DC power supply for running 24-volt communication and navigation equipment on commercial vessels. It uses a linear circuit design with protected output and a rugged aluminum heat-sink case for demanding onboard environments.

  • Input: 115/230 VAC nominal, selectable 105-125/210-250 VAC, 50-60 Hz
  • Maximum input current: 5.5A at 115 VAC; 2.5A at 230 VAC
  • Output: 24.5 VDC, internally adjustable from 21-27.5 VDC
  • Output current: 10A intermittent; 4A continuous
  • Regulation and ripple: 1% line and load, 70mV P-P ripple at rated input
  • Duty cycle: 20 minutes maximum on time at 20% duty intermittent; 24 hours per day at 100% duty continuous
  • Protection: overvoltage, current limit set at 105% of intermittent rating, thermal overload, and input/output fusing
  • Construction: powder-coated aluminum heat-sink case, heavy-duty mounting flange, front panel terminal block, conformal-coated PC board, and integral shock mounts
  • Operating temperature: 0-50 degrees C; derates from 100% at 40 degrees C to 50% at 50 degrees C; thermal shutdown at 85 degrees C case temperature
