The Megaware SkegGuard 27081 is a stainless steel replacement skeg protector for specified Evinrude, Johnson, Suzuki, and OMC Cobra applications. It is intended to cover and protect a skeg, or to serve as a repair option when enough of the original skeg remains for installation.

  • Wear area: reinforced lower wear tab with a 3 mm thickened lower plate
  • Installation: secures with self-locking hardware and common tools
  • Repair fit: installs with as little as 2 inches of skeg remaining; feature list also states 2-3 inches
  • Design: drain hole helps prevent standing water, corrosion, and freezing
  • Warranty: three years from date of purchase with receipt
