Overview
The Maxwell RC8-8 is a 12V windlass for anchor systems using up to 5/16" chain with 9/16" rope. It is intended for rope-and-chain rodes, with a low-profile deck unit, stainless steel construction, and a supplied control kit.

- Rope compatibility: 14mm / 9/16" three-strand or 8-plait rope
- Rode handling: rope/chain gypsy accommodates pitch differences within the specified chain size diameters for the RC8 Series
- Construction: marine grade 316 stainless steel
- Pressure arm: heavy duty stainless steel arm with a pre-loaded stainless steel spring to control the rope/chain splice
- Deck installation: two-piece installation, spacer tube design, multiple mounting positions, and self-aligning gearbox
- Anchor operation: cone-type clutch/brake permits manual free-fall anchoring
- Manual backup: emergency crank handle included
- Gearbox: sealed oil bath, marine grade hard anodised alloy gearbox with worm and worm wheel drive
- Kit includes: windlass, on/off breaker panel, reversing solenoid, up/down panel switch, and handle
- Note: anchor rode sold separately
