Good to know
Confirm the kit matches the PFD models specified in your life jacket's owner's manual; an incorrect kit can be dangerous. Replace the cylinder after it has been punctured. The pressurized cylinder must be kept away from children, sunlight, fire and temperatures above 120F (50C). Do not incinerate it or discard it at sea. Empty cylinders before disposal, and discharge and dispose of any that are corroded or rusty.
