When side pressure builds at the rod tip, the Lee's Tackle RH575 swivel base rod holder lets a bent-butt rod turn to follow the fish. Built primarily for bent-butt tackle, this 30° flush mount holder also accommodates straight-butt rods.

  • The swivel base allows the rod butt to rotate under side pressure so the tip can track the fish.
  • Rod movement helps keep line travelling over the tip roller, reducing the risk of fraying and added drag from sideways line travel.
  • A rotating base makes rod removal easier because the butt is not held against a fixed pin.
  • Adjustable pressure on two nylon drag washers lets you set the force needed to turn the swivel.
  • Straight-butt rods can be turned by hand to keep the line on the tip roller.
