Overview

Electro-MechanicalActuator Type
Stainless SteelConstruction

Adjust tab position on a 28–48 foot boat with the Lectrotab XKA 12 x 24 stainless steel trim tab kit. Two electric actuators move the tabs quietly, using a non-hydraulic design that requires no oil and keeps the actuator assembly self-contained.

Key features

  • Weld-free hinges use a continuous rolled section and pin to give the tabs added strength.
  • Built-in actuator brakes prevent unwanted tab movement when moving ahead or backing down.
  • Protected upper ram seals avoid damage caused by fouling or barnacles on the ram.
  • Non-metallic actuator exteriors withstand corrosion, sunlight and underwater exposure.
  • Sealed actuators combine internal pressure equalization with maintenance-free operation.
  • No actuator components need to be installed inside the boat, simplifying the installation layout.
