Overview

Electro-MechanicalActuator Type
Stainless SteelConstruction

For boats from 20 to 40 feet, the Lectrotab XKA 12 x 18 trim tab kit pairs stainless steel tabs with electric actuators for precise tab positioning. Its self-contained, non-hydraulic mechanism operates quietly and needs no oil, removing the possibility of hydraulic oil leaks.

Key features

  • A rolled hinge secured by a continuous pin strengthens each tab without welded joints.
  • An internal brake holds the tab position while underway or backing down.
  • The upper ram seal sits where ram fouling and barnacle growth cannot damage it.
  • Permanently sealed, non-metallic actuator housings resist corrosion and deterioration from sun or underwater exposure.
  • A maintenance-free actuator design includes internal pressure equalization.
  • Self-contained actuators simplify installation without placing components inside the boat.
