Overview

For boats running at high speeds or through rough conditions, the Lectrotab heavy duty trim tab actuator adds reinforcement at its upper mounting point. This 12 V version has a 6-foot cable and delivers accurate tab positioning through a quiet, maintenance-free mechanism.

Key features

  • A reinforced upper mounting boss and 12-gauge stainless steel upper bracket support demanding boating applications.
  • The internal brake keeps tabs from shifting unexpectedly during forward travel or reverse operation.
  • Hydraulic oil is unnecessary, so there is no oil to escape from the actuator.
  • The sealed, non-metallic housing withstands sunlight and submersion without corrosion or deterioration.
  • The upper ram seal is positioned to avoid damage from fouling or barnacle growth.
  • No actuator components need space inside the boat, simplifying installation.
