Overview

For sailboat line handling, the Harken 45mm Single Element Block combines a single sheave with a swivel and becket. Forged aluminum sideplates protect the sheave, while corrosion-resistant components suit its work aboard.

Key features

  • Forged aluminum sideplates use compound curves to provide strength.
  • Hardcoat anodizing helps protect the sideplates against corrosion.
  • A corrosion-resistant composite bearing sheave supports long service life.
  • Journal bearing construction keeps the sheave supported within the protective sideplates.
