Overview

For sailors arranging line runs aboard their boat, the Harken 45mm Double Element Block brings two sheaves, a swivel and a becket together in one fitting. Forged aluminum sideplates support the assembly, while corrosion-resistant components suit its work in marine rigging.

Key features

  • Curved, forged aluminum sideplates provide strength around the sheaves.
  • Hardcoat anodizing helps protect the sideplates against corrosion.
  • Composite bearing sheaves resist corrosion to support service life.
  • The journal-bearing design supports sheave rotation as line travels through the block.
