Overview

This GROCO engine flush kit and adaptor adds a service point to a 3/4" marine water system. The quick-release plug and included service adaptor support cooling-system flushing, winterization, and emergency bilge pumping through the engine raw water pump.

  • Hose ID: 3/4"
  • Thread: 3/4" NPT
  • Overall length: 3.9"
  • Adaptor material: Bronze
  • Emergency use: Close the seacock, remove the quick-release plug, and allow the running engine raw water pump to move bilge water overboard.
  • Winterizing use: Close the seacock, remove the plug, and insert the service adaptor to draw anti-freeze into the cooling system.
  • Flushing use: Close the seacock and insert the service adaptor so dockside water can flush the cooling system while the engine idles.
  • Optional accessory: GROCO Bilge Strainer may be added for remote bilge locations.
