Overview

The GROCO 1-inch Engine Flush Kit and Adaptor adds a service point to a seacock for engine cooling-system flushing, winterization, or emergency bilge pumping. The quick-release plug is removed after the seacock is closed, allowing the included adaptor to be used for dockside water or antifreeze service.

  • Hose ID: 1 in
  • Thread: 1 in NPT
  • Overall length: 4.35 in
  • Adaptor material: Bronze
  • Use for flushing: Insert the service adaptor after closing the seacock; dockside water may be used with the engine at idle speed
  • Use for winterization: Insert the service adaptor after closing the seacock to pump antifreeze into the cooling system
  • Emergency use: With the connected engine running, close the seacock and remove the quick-release plug so the raw water pump can move bilge water overboard
  • Optional accessory: Add a GROCO Bilge Strainer to pump out remote bilge locations
