Overview

NMEA 2000Data Interface

The Garmin GFS 10 Fuel Sensor adds fuel-flow tracking to compatible Garmin chartplotter setups on gas-powered boats. It sends fuel-use data through Garmin CANet or NMEA 2000 and can also read fuel level when connected to an existing analog gauge or resistive tank sensor.

  • Engine type: Gas engines only
  • Fuel flow range: 2 to 50 gallons per hour
  • Network support: Garmin CANet or NMEA 2000
  • Can provide fuel level sensing with an existing analog fuel gauge or resistive fuel tank sensor
  • GPSMAP 4xx and 5xx series CANet compatible units require a CANet kit for connection
  • Not for diesel engines
  • Not for fuel-injected gas engines with a fuel return line
