Overview
The Forespar Lightning Master static dissipater mounts at the masthead and extends above other masthead equipment. It is designed to reduce static ground charge and slow the formation of ion streamers associated with direct lightning strikes.
This product uses point-discharge technology to release ground potential in low amperages over time. Forespar states that no product can be claimed to prevent lightning strikes with 100% effectiveness.
