Overview
em-trak B953 is a Class B AIS transceiver with 5W SOTDMA transmit power and an integrated VHF antenna splitter. It is built for vessels that need AIS transmit and receive capability while sharing an existing VHF antenna.
The unit includes built-in GPS, NMEA connectivity, USB, automated monitoring, and a silent transmit-off function. US units must be programmed by a qualified technician, with MMSI registration or an FCC Ship Station License and the vessel master or owner signature required.
