Overview
The Davis Instruments Vantage Vue Wireless Integrated Sensor Suite combines outdoor weather sensors into one compact unit. It is built for wireless weather monitoring and includes the sensor hardware needed for rain, wind, temperature, and humidity readings.
- Included sensors: rain collector, temperature/humidity sensors, anemometer, and direction vane
- Wireless range: transmits up to 1,000' (300M) from the integrated sensor suite to the console
- Wireless technology: frequency-hopping spread spectrum radio
- Rain measurement: self-emptying tipping spoon with .01" (0.2 mm) resolution
- Wind speed range: records from 2 mph (3 km/h) to 180 mph (290 km/h)
- Temperature range: -40 degrees F to 150 degrees F (-40 degrees C to 65 degrees C)
- Relative humidity range: 0 to 100%
- Wind direction: measures in compass points or degrees
- Power: solar panel for daytime operation, on-board super capacitor for night power, and lithium battery backup when needed
- Protection: corrosion-resistant weather cover, potted or over-molded electronics, and radiation shield
- Installation: mounting hardware included; mounting pole sold separately
- Leveling: built-in bubble level
