Overview
The Davis Instruments Tiller Tamer helps a sailor hold a cruising course without keeping a hand on the tiller. It is made for tiller-steered boats where adjustable control is useful underway, at the mooring, or on a trailer.
- Use: Maintains a cruising course hands-free
- Adjustment: Tension can be set from fully locked to fully free
- Control: Designed to improve tiller handle feel and handling
- Steering compatibility: Does not interfere with automatic steering systems
- Cockpit fit: Does not reduce cockpit space
- Storage benefit: Eliminates the need to lash the tiller while moored or trailered
