Overview
This C. Sherman Johnson single-hook anchor chain tensioner is made for 3/8 inch chain and helps hold an anchor in the bow roller channel. It also keeps the bow cleat available while the anchor is secured for sea conditions.
The fitting has a 12 inch overall length and includes a threaded hook with 1-1/2 inches of adjustment for installation. It is not intended to carry the rode load while the boat is at anchor.
