Overview

For boat owners tackling rot in stringers, transoms or cabin roofs, the pint-size BoatLIFE Git Rot Kit treats damaged wood with a penetrating epoxy. Its two-part liquid formulation works into loose, rotted fibers to restore the wood's original strength.

Key features

  • Travels into the wood by capillary action after injection, saturating the rotted area.
  • Offers a half-hour pot life for working with the mixed epoxy.
  • Hardens overnight and can then be sanded and painted to finish the repair.
  • Can be drilled and screwed after curing for subsequent work on the treated wood.
