Overview

Rot in a boat's woodwork can be treated with BoatLIFE Git Rot, a two-part liquid epoxy that penetrates damaged wood to restore its original strength. The 4oz kit is suitable for repairs to transoms, stringers and cabin roofs on wood and fiberglass boats.

Key features

  • Soaks into loose, rotted fibers through capillary action to treat the affected wood.
  • Provides 30 minutes of working time once the two parts are mixed.
  • Cures overnight so the repair can then be sanded or painted.
  • Accepts drilling and screws after curing, allowing further work on the repaired area.
