Overview

For onboard 12V connections exposed to spray and vibration, the Blue Sea Systems 1010 cigarette lighter plug includes sealing and cable-support features. An illuminated indicator shows when power is on, while a built-in fuse provides circuit protection.

Key features

  • A sealing ring around the shaft helps exclude spray and keeps the plug seated firmly.
  • The twist-lock arrangement secures the plug in the socket.
  • An LED makes the power-on status visible.
  • Internal strain relief supports the cord at its entry point, with a cord seal also provided.
  • Large contact areas promote electrical connection, and current-carrying parts use nickel-plated copper alloy.
