Overview

Manage two battery banks on a single-engine boat with the BEP Marine square battery distribution cluster. Model 716-SQ-140A-DVSR replaces a battery selector switch with automatic battery management and supports charging systems up to 150A.

Key features

  • Automatic battery management helps keep the starting battery ready for engine starts.
  • Protection against engine-start voltage spikes helps safeguard onboard electronics.
  • Uses the existing selector-switch wiring, so the replacement requires no additional wires.
  • Provides a replacement option for battery isolator systems.

Specifications

  • Model: 716-SQ-140A-DVSR
  • Configuration: Single engine, two battery banks
  • Charging system limit: 150A
  • Layout: Square

Good to know

Suitable configurations are a single outboard with two battery banks or a single-alternator inboard engine with two battery banks. Installation in place of a selector switch uses the wires already connected to that switch.
