Overview

The BEP Marine 717-140A-DVSR battery distribution cluster is made for twin outboard installations using three battery banks. It manages charging between the port start battery, starboard start battery, and house battery when the voltage sensitive relays are engaged.

  • Port charging: Port engine can charge the port start battery and house battery when the port VSR is engaged
  • Starboard charging: Starboard engine can charge the starboard start battery and house battery when the starboard VSR is engaged
  • House battery support: Allows the house battery to receive charge from both engines until the engines' voltage regulators control the charge
  • Single-engine use: Allows house battery charging while steaming on one engine
