Overview

BlackColor

Manage lines aboard a cruising or racing yacht with the Barton Marine DO 550 Double Rope Clutch. Its clutch mechanism lets you adjust a line while locked and release it under load with little effort.

Key features

  • Impact-resistant plastic components keep weight down while standing up to marine use.
  • Anodized aluminum cams and bases resist wear from repeated line handling.
  • Stainless steel fairleads at both ends help protect the rope and clutch from wear.
  • The mechanism allows line adjustment in the closed position with minimal slippage and remains easy to operate with cold, wet hands.
  • Removable handle inserts can be replaced with printed colored inserts to identify each line's function.
  • Bolt-together assembly makes servicing and component replacement easier.
