Overview

This ARCO Marine tilt trim motor is a replacement unit for late model Mercury outboard applications using a 2-wire connection. It is intended for listed Mercury horsepower ranges and includes the installation parts described by ARCO.

The motor has a 2-bolt mount, flat-blade shaft, bullet connector terminal ends, and an included O-ring. ARCO notes that electrical connections should be cleaned because corrosion can add resistance and reduce operating amperage.
