The conductors are tinned copper with ultra flexible Type 3/Class K stranding, and the jacket is designed for easy removal while protecting against abrasion. The insulation is rated for marine conditions and is listed for resistance to salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.
