The Actisense USG-2 is an isolated USB-to-serial gateway for linking a PC with NMEA 0183, RS422, and RS232 marine data connections. It is built for onboard installations where isolation, protected inputs and outputs, and a secure USB connection are required.

  • Function: Converts USB to a bi-directional serial port for NMEA 0183 data bus connections
  • Compatibility: NMEA 0183, RS422, RS232, and RS485 Listener compatible
  • Ports: One isolated NMEA 0183 Listener input and one isolated NMEA 0183 Talker output
  • Isolation: ISO-Drive output and OPTO-isolated input with galvanic isolation for Talker and Listener
  • Power: USB bus powered
  • Maximum bus current: 50mA
  • NMEA baud rate: 4800 to 230400 bps
  • USB baud rate: 300 to 230400 baud
  • USB compatibility: USB 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0
