Collection: Underwater Lighting

Submerged hull lighting draws baitfish and the predators that follow, and adds a polished look at the dock after dark. This selection covers three brands, Attwood Marine, Metro Marine, and Shadow-Caster LED Lighting, each with a different approach to output and build. Attwood Light Armor lights come in 3, 6, and 12-LED configurations, letting you match output to hull size and power draw. Shadow-Caster's SCM-4 and SC3 Series use 316 stainless steel housings and ship with 20-foot pre-run cables. Metro Marine takes a high-output approach using intelligent monochromatic LEDs designed for underwater illumination.

Before buying, check your hull's voltage, mounting location, and whether the install calls for a through-hull or surface-mount fitting. Color matters for fishing: green and blue wavelengths attract plankton and the baitfish that follow, while white suits dock aesthetics and general illumination. Saltwater boaters should prioritize stainless-housed units like the Shadow-Caster models for corrosion resistance. Smaller boats or secondary installations are well served by Attwood's 3-LED or 6-LED options. Larger powerboats and serious anglers will want the 12-LED Attwood, Metro Marine, or Shadow-Caster offerings for greater coverage.
