Collection: Tents

Coleman's tent lineup here covers four-person weekend getaways through twelve-person family basecamp setups, so the first decision is simply how many people need to sleep comfortably. The Skydome series makes up the bulk of the selection and comes in four, six, ten, and twelve-person configurations, with some models adding a screen room for bug-free lounging separate from the sleeping area. The ten-person Skydome XL includes Dark Room Technology, which blocks most sunlight and helps reduce interior heat, a worthwhile feature if you camp in summer or with children who sleep late. For groups that prioritize fast pitching, the Instant Cabin options in four and six-person sizes use pre-attached poles that unfold and lock into place in minutes.

If weight and packability matter more than interior volume, the Flatwoods II Lightweight Dome in four or six-person size is the better pick over the larger cabin styles. Before buying, match the listed capacity to your actual group with some margin, since manufacturer person counts are based on sleeping bodies, not comfort or gear storage. Consider whether you'll car camp at established sites, where the larger Skydomes make sense, or move between locations, where a lighter dome is more practical. All tents here are sold as an authorized Coleman dealer, so full manufacturer warranty applies.
