Collection: Tents

Coleman covers the full range here, from compact four-person dome tents to twelve-person cabin setups with screen rooms, so the first question is always group size and how you actually camp. The Skydome line trades vertical walls for a lower, more wind-stable profile that works well for open campsites near the water, while the cabin-style tents give you more headroom for families who want to move around inside. If early-morning light is an issue, the Skydome XL with Dark Room Technology is worth a look. Instant-setup models, including several cabin and Skydome options, use pre-attached poles that get you under cover quickly, which matters when weather rolls in off the water.

Weight is another real variable. The Flatwoods II dome tents are built lighter for trips where portability counts, whereas the larger Skydome and cabin tents are better suited to car camping or boat-to-camp setups where you are not carrying gear far. Screen room versions add usable bug-free space without adding a separate shelter. The OASIS canopy with its sun wall fills a different role entirely, working well as a day-use shade structure at a beach or launch site.
