Collection: Shackles/Rings/Pins

Ronstan shackles, rings, and pins are the connecting hardware that keeps running rigging secure on sailboats and powerboats. The dee shackles here use a slotted pin that opens and closes by hand, making them practical for sheets, halyards, and blocks that see frequent adjustment. Pin diameter is the key sizing variable, with options at 3/16" and 1/4", while jaw length and width determine what fitting or rope eye the shackle will actually clear.

Welded rings suit applications where a closed, permanent loop is the right choice rather than an openable connection. Ronstan's range covers wire thicknesses from 4mm to 8mm and inside diameters from 1" to 1-5/8", so check both dimensions against your line size and attachment point before ordering. Toggle pins come in four lengths from 1/2" to 1" and need to match the hole spacing in your existing toggles or turnbuckles exactly. Split rings, at 10mm and 11mm diameters, are suited to lighter duty work such as retaining cotter pins or small deck fittings. Across all of these parts, matching by dimension rather than buying by eye will save you a return trip.
