Collection: Seating

From pedestal hardware to full leaning posts with tackle storage, this category covers the components and seating that shape how a boat functions day to day. Springfield Marine anchors the hardware side with locking posts, swivels, and bushings in standard post diameters. Attwood adds seat slides and SWIVL-EZE pedestal kits offered in zinc-plated or stainless steel base plate options. TACO Marine addresses larger builds with the Neptune series leaning posts featuring integrated rod holders and storage bags, and the Boca Sport Chair for more relaxed deck seating. SHOCK-WBV focuses on vibration-absorbing swivel hardware for applications where ride quality and fatigue reduction matter.

Before buying, confirm the post diameter your seat base accepts. Springfield and Attwood hardware ships in common sizes such as 2-3/8" and 2-7/8", and mismatched diameters require a bushing adapter. Check the base plate footprint against your deck mounting area before ordering a pedestal kit. TACO leaning posts are substantial structures, so measure available cockpit space carefully. The Springfield Console Helm Flip-Up requires clearance for the folding motion, making it better suited to open helm stations than tight console layouts. Stainless base plates resist corrosion better in saltwater, while zinc-plated hardware suits freshwater environments or tighter budgets.
