Collection: Rail Fittings

Whitecap stainless steel rail fittings cover the full range of connections needed to build or repair a bow rail, stern rail, or cockpit enclosure frame. The two critical specs to confirm before ordering are tube outside diameter, either 7/8" or 1", and the angle or fitting style the joint requires. Bow forms come in 110° and 125° versions, so matching the sweep of your existing rail matters. Tees are available in 60° angled versions in left-hand, right-hand, and universal orientations, which affects how the fitting meets the rail run, and 3-way corner fittings handle the transitions where rails meet at a corner. Getting the geometry wrong means a fitting that won't seat flush or a rail that pulls out of alignment.

All fittings in this range are marine-grade stainless steel, which holds up against salt air and spray without the surface corrosion common on lesser alloys. The set screws, sold in ten-packs, are the hardware used to lock tube ends inside fittings, so it is worth picking up a pack if you are building a new section or replacing corroded fasteners on an existing rail. Boaters doing a full rail rebuild will need to plan the full fitting sequence before ordering, since mixing 7/8" and 1" components is not compatible.
